About us
The Australasian Youth Scholarship is a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting and advancing youth ballet and classical dance training across Australasia. We exist to nurture talented young dancers by providing access to high-quality training opportunities, financial support and meaningful artistic experiences.
AYS supports emerging ballet artists through scholarships, bursaries and awards, helping to remove financial barriers that can limit access to professional-level classical dance education. Our programs are designed to encourage excellence, discipline and artistic growth while fostering confidence and resilience in young dancers.
We also create opportunities for international learning and exchange by connecting Australasian dancers with respected ballet masters and organisations worldwide. These experiences broaden artistic perspective and support the development of dancers who aspire to careers in classical ballet.
Through gala performances and curated events, AYS celebrates youth ballet talent and strengthens community appreciation for classical dance. We work collaboratively with schools, studios and arts organisations to enhance training pathways and professional development across the region.
